Maurice Hannan : Special Counsel

Prior to completing his law degree and being admitted as a solicitor in 1995, Maurice practiced as a Pharmacist for approximately 22 years both in South Australia and Queensland, having owned and operated a number of large pharmacies in both States.  In July 2004 Maurice accepted a Consultancy position with Walsh Halligan Douglas, practicing in the area of Property/Commercial Law and specialising in:

• The sale and acquisition of various businesses;
• The negotiation of the purchase and sale of shopping centres;
• The negotiation and preparation of Leases for both Lessor's and Lessee's;
• The sale and acquisition of residential and commercial properties;
• Provision of legal advice and services to a large real estate agency franchise in Queensland;
• Advice to clients in relation to various legislation relating in particular to financial service providers and real estate industry;
• Advice in relation to Franchise Agreements;
• Advice in relation to the structure and reconstruction of various business entities;
• Provision of Banking and Finance Services to clients.
