About Spencer
Spencer graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies) and in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws.
Having been involved with the legal profession since 2007, Spencer has gained experience across commercial law, commercial litigation, criminal law and property law. His focus at Walsh Halligan Douglas is primarily on assisting his clients to gain successful legal outcomes through commercial litigation.
Recognised for his compassion, empathy and exceptional levels of client service, Spencer’s aim is to take the ‘mystery’ out of commercial litigation, providing plain-English answers and explanations to his clients.
Prior to his legal career, Spencer was a playwright and stage director for three years. He also spent time working as a plasterer and in the hospitality industry. Spencer’s ‘real-world’ life experience adds to his ability to provide practical, insightful and realistic legal advice to his clients.
Spencer was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2008. He joined Walsh Halligan Douglas in 2010 and was appointed an Associate in 2011 and a Senior Associate in 2012.
