With 19 years’ experience as a legal secretary and 12 of those in family law, Rita brings invaluable insight and knowledge to our family law team. She has a true passion for family law and a genuine focus on helping our clients. We say this because time and time again our clients tell us how much they appreciate Rita’s genuine concern for their situation as well as her honest and compassionate approach.
Since joining the firm in 2006 Rita has been the first point of contact for many of our clients. She carefully listens to clients, asks the right questions to get to the crux of the matter and determines the best way forward for their case – whether that is referring them to one of our family law solicitors or recommending a suitable alternative.
Rita’s extensive experience means that she has an excellent working knowledge of family law procedures and documents. In order to provide the very best support to the firm’s solicitors and clients, Rita proactively ensures she is aware of and understands the latest changes and developments in family law legislation and regulations.
In addition to her experience in family law, Rita has prior experience in conveyancing, wills and estates, commercial law and personal injury litigation. This prior knowledge gives Rita a well-rounded approach to her work and the ability to identify whether a client’s family law matter will result in the need for help in other areas of the law.
Outside of her working life, Rita is a mother of two and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking and going to the gym.
