About Loan

Having graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (with Honours), Loan has practised exclusively in succession law since 2005.

With a particular interest in working with not-for-profit organisations, Loan has expertise across all areas of succession law, including: the preparation of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, General Powers of Attorney, Letters of Wishes and Advance Health Directives; the administration of estates (whether in accordance with a Will or the laws of intestacy); and estate litigation (where there are applications for family provision and/or challenges to the validity of Wills).

Loan’s clients appreciate her meticulous approach to the preparation of their legal documents as well as her clear and concise explanations of the complexities of succession law. Known for her patient, relationship-based approach, Loan has developed a reputation as a trusted family advisor.
Loan joined Walsh Halligan Douglas in 2009 and was appointed an Associate in 2011.
